La Trattoria was created in 1984 by Italian born, Virgilio Vitale, who also created the long running nightclub, One Saloon. The establishment has been in the family ever since. Currently his brother, Carmelo Vitale, is present at all times to oversee the restaurant operations. He has assistance from his family and dedicated staff of over 30 employees. Carmelo insists on top quality, freshness, consistency and perfection so that dining in his restaurant is an excellent experience for everyone. He would have it no other way.
Carmelo was born in Sicily.
You have to only sample his food to know that he
has brought his extensive knowledge of Mediterranean
cuisine along with him.
