Key West cuisine, and no one serves seafood like Alonzo's Oyster Bar. Located at 700 Front Street, at the head of the historic Key West Bight, Alonzo's Oyster Bar is located on the ground floor of the A&B Lobster House.
Alonzo's is the oyster connoisseur's heaven! The only oyster bar in town serving a variety of warm water and cold water oysters. All are served freshly shucked, baked or batter dipped. Or sample a dish made with Key West Pinks-our native shrimp, freshly shucked clams, or lobster.
The restaurant building sits near the site of the old Thompson Shrimp Company. After local sailors discovered that the native pink shrimp dined in offshore waters at night, they made their fortunes harvesting the delicacies, thus turning the local shrimp in to pink gold.
There is a wide variety of microbrew beers and a generous selection of wines by the glass. After dinner, enjoy a cigar, cognac or port in the upstairs Berlin's Bar. Soft leather chairs and wood walls will help you finish off the perfect evening.
Alonzo's is open daily from 11a.m. until 11p.m. Free parking is available or come by boat to the A&B Marina.
